About this variety
Die wohl früheste blaue Pflaume im Garten, schon Mitte bis Ende Juli reif, lange bevor die meisten anderen Sorten beginnen. Sie ist selbstunfruchtbar und braucht eine andere, gleichzeitig blühende Sorte als Befruchter, etwa ‚The Czar’ oder ‚Königin Victoria’. Lagern lässt sie sich kaum, also pflücke und genieße sie zeitnah.
Süßes, mildes und saftiges Fruchtfleisch mit zarter Haut. Als erste Pflaume des Jahres ein kleines Fest, frisch vom Baum am schönsten.
