How we make money
Some public pages carry links to retailers. If you buy something through one, we receive a share from the retailer.
The price stays the same
You pay the same price through such a link as you would anywhere else. The share comes from the retailer. We do not see what you buy: the retailer only tells us that a purchase happened.
Where they appear
Only in magazine articles, on cultivar pages, and at most one on a plant page. There is none in your own garden, and none on the disease pages either: advertising has no place next to a treatment recommendation.
How to spot them
Every commission link carries the word “advertisement” and a sentence explaining what happens when you click. Both sit directly next to the link. An article containing such links also says so below its headline.
