About this variety
Die Mirabelle von Metz ist die kleinfrüchtige Schwester der ‚Mirabelle von Nancy’ und reift etwas früher, ab Anfang August (KW 32). Ihre Früchte sind zierlicher, oft fein rot punktiert und besonders aromatisch. Sie ist selbstfruchtbar und kommt ohne zweiten Baum aus. Wie alle Mirabellen ist sie scharka-anfällig und dankt dir einen warmen, gut belüfteten Standort.
Kleine, goldgelbe Früchte mit zarter Süße und einem feinen, parfümierten Aroma. Etwas weniger üppig als die Nancy, dafür delikat, ideal für Konfitüre, klaren Saft und einen besonders feinen Brand.
