Bezirksverband Cuxhaven der Kleingärtner e.V. is the district association for allotment gardening in Cuxhaven (Lower Saxony). It was founded in September 1925 under the name "Kleingartenbund für das Amt Ritzelbüttel e.V." and renamed to its current name in March 1934. The association acts as the general leaseholder of all municipal allotment garden land and enters into sub-lease agreements with the affiliated Cuxhaven allotment garden clubs, which then allocate plots to individual gardeners. It currently comprises around 21 to 22 member clubs with about 1,094 members across roughly 1,475 plots covering a total area of about 66 hectares.
