Bezirksverband der Kleingärtner Göttingen e.V.

Bezirksverband der Kleingärtner Göttingen e.V. is the district association for allotment gardeners in Göttingen (Lower Saxony), serving member clubs across the districts of Göttingen, Northeim and Osterode. It was founded in 1937 as the Bezirksgruppe der Kleingärtner e.V., Göttingen, after the city of Göttingen had established its first permanent allotment garden colonies from 1936 onward, and was registered as a non-profit with the Göttingen district court in 1938. The association counts 28 member clubs. It belongs to the Landesverband der Niedersächsischen Gartenfreunde e.V., which is in turn part of the Bundesverband Deutscher Gartenfreunde e.V. The association is based at Greitweg 37 in Göttingen.
