Bezirksverband der Kleingärtner Wolfsburg und Umgebung e.V. is a district association based in Wolfsburg (Lower Saxony). It was founded in 1948, when Heinrich Freundlieb, then chairman of the Westersieck gardening club, brought together eight Wolfsburg clubs and eleven clubs from the surrounding area. The association currently has 25 member clubs with around 2,135 members. Its area of responsibility covers Wolfsburg and the surrounding towns, including Hattorf, Hehlingen, Sandkamp, Vorsfelde and Neindorf. The association's task is to support its affiliated allotment garden clubs, assist them with club management, and coordinate cooperation with municipal authorities.
