Bezirksverband Elm-Vorland der Kleingärtner e. V.

Bezirksverband Elm-Vorland der Kleingärtner e. V. is a district association of allotment gardeners in the Braunschweig area (Lower Saxony) and a member of the Landesverband Braunschweig der Gartenfreunde e. V. It was established in 1974 as a result of an administrative and territorial reform, after the Landkreis Braunschweig was dissolved and its allotment garden clubs realigned with the existing city districts; the founding event took place on 26 January 1975. The district association comprises nine member clubs across the Elm-Vorland region, including in Königslutter, Lehre, Cremlingen, Destedt, Veltheim/Ohe and Wendhausen. It thereby represents the shared allotment gardening interests of several communities on the edge of the Elm hills.
