About this federation
Bremen-Nord refers to an interest group (IG) within the Landesverband der Gartenfreunde Bremen e.V. in Bremen (Bremen). The IG Bremen-Nord brings together ten allotment garden clubs in the northern part of Bremen, representing around 800 allotment gardeners in total. The state association organizes its member clubs by district into a total of nine to ten such interest groups, whose chairpersons also serve on the state association's overall board. The state association itself is the umbrella organization for allotment gardening in Bremen, Bremerhaven and Wesermünde, representing around 17,000 garden friends across roughly 100 clubs.
