About this federation
Grünstadt refers, within the allotment garden organization of Rhineland-Palatinate, to the allotment garden area in Grünstadt (Rhineland-Palatinate). The local allotment garden site „Am Schmittengraben 2" comprises 63 plots, which can be used as vegetable gardens, leisure gardens, or a mix of both. Since December 2021, the site has been managed by the allotment garden association „Gartenfreunde Am Schmittengraben Grünstadt e.V.", whose first chairman is Wolfgang Schwarz. The association is a member of the Landesverband Rheinland-Pfalz der Kleingärtner e.V., the umbrella organization of organized allotment garden associations in Rhineland-Palatinate, which comprises 31 associations with around 82 affiliated societies and allotment gardens and about 12,000 tenants in total.
