About this federation
Kreisverband der Gartenfreunde Rostock-Land is a district association based in Rostock (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) and legal successor of the former district board Rostock-Land of the VKSK. It was entered into the register of associations in 1990. The association brings together 65 member clubs with around 2,300 allotment garden plots covering a total area of about one million square meters in the territory of the former Rostock-Land district. It represents the interests of its member clubs before the district administration of Landkreis Rostock and offers expert talks, workshops, and plant exchange markets.
