About this federation

Kreisverband Hochtaunus der Kleingärtner e.V. is a district federation of allotment gardeners based in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe (Hesse) and a member of the Landesverband Hessen der Kleingärtner e.V. It was founded on 14 April 1989 at the clubhouse in Oberursel, when 35 voting members from the four existing Hochtaunus clubs joined together. The federation comprises four local clubs: Kleingartenbauverein Bad Homburg, Kleingärtnerverein Oberursel, Kleingartenverein Im Wingert Steinbach, and Kleingärtnerverein Friedrichsdorf Anlage Petterweiler Holzweg. Detlev Keebe from Bad Homburg served as the first chairman, and his successor Gerd Drews led the federation until 2013.
