Osterfeuerberg designates one of nine district-level interest groups (Interessengemeinschaften, IG) within the Landesverband der Gartenfreunde Bremen e.V. in Bremen (Bremen). The allotment garden clubs of the city are organized at this level to exchange information and support one another within their district. The chairpersons of these interest groups also serve on the overall board of the state association. Martin Schlosser is named as chairman of the IG Osterfeuerberg.
