Regionalverband der Gartenfreunde Landkreis Demmin 1995

Regionalverband der Gartenfreunde "Landkreis Demmin 1995" e.V. is a regional allotment garden association in the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern), based in Altentreptow. It emerged from three district associations founded in 1990 (Altentreptow, Demmin, Malchin), which merged in 1995; the current name was adopted in 2011. Its area of responsibility covers the towns of Demmin, Malchin, Stavenhagen and Altentreptow, comprising 37 allotment garden clubs, around 1,869 plots and a total area of about 1.1 million square meters. The association is a member of the Landesverband der Gartenfreunde Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and thus of the Bundesverband der Kleingartenvereine Deutschlands.
