Regionalverband der Gartenfreunde Mecklenburg/Strelitz - Neubrandenburg

Regionalverband der Gartenfreunde Mecklenburg/Strelitz, Neubrandenburg is a district level allotment garden federation based in Neubrandenburg (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany). It was founded on 11 June 1990 as Kreisverband der Gartenfreunde Neubrandenburg e. V., the direct legal successor of the Neubrandenburg district association of the former East German VKSK; on 20 March 2010 it merged by absorption with the Kreisverband der Gartenfreunde Neustrelitz. It is affiliated with the state association Landesverband der Gartenfreunde Mecklenburg und Vorpommern, which in turn belongs to the national Bundesverband Deutscher Gartenfreunde. The federation currently represents 6,016 members across 107 member associations in the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte region and administers about 3.5 million square meters of leased garden plots on behalf of its member clubs.
