About this federation
Verband der Gartenfreunde Großenhain is a district association of allotment gardeners based in Großenhain (Saxony). It is a member of the State Association of Allotment Gardeners of Saxony and represents 27 allotment garden clubs from Großenhain and the surrounding area with about 1,287 active members. The association was newly reestablished on 13 June 1990 following German reunification. Its tasks include advising member clubs and connecting interested gardeners with available plots in the region.
