Verband Mannheim

Bezirksverband der Gartenfreunde Mannheim e.V. is a district association for allotment gardening in Mannheim (Baden-Württemberg, Germany) and its surrounding area. It is affiliated with the Landesverband der Gartenfreunde Baden-Württemberg e.V. and holds intermediate lease agreements with around 25 allotment garden clubs as well as sub-lease agreements with approximately 6,000 individual gardeners. Member clubs include associations in the Mannheim districts of Käfertal, Feudenheim, Sandhofen, Schönau and Waldhof, as well as in nearby towns such as Plankstadt, Ilvesheim, Edingen and Neckarhausen. The association acts as the general lessee of the city owned allotment garden sites toward the city of Mannheim and subleases the individual sites to its member clubs.
