Bezirksverband der Gartenfreunde Schwäbisch Gmünd e.V. is a district association for allotment gardening based in Schwäbisch Gmünd (Baden-Württemberg). It originated on February 12, 1943, as Kreisgruppe Schwäbisch Gmünd der Kleingärten e.V. and was refounded on September 13, 1946, as the district group of the Kleingärtnerbund Schwäbisch Gmünd. The association comprises 18 member clubs with a total of about 1507 members in the Schwäbisch Gmünd area, including clubs in Gmünd-Ost, Gmünd-West, Schapplachhalde, Schießtal, Großdeinbach, Heubach, Lindach, Lorch and Pfahlbronn. It is a member of the Landesverband der Gartenfreunde Baden-Württemberg e.V. and promotes allotment gardening as well as expert advice on fruit, vegetables and ornamental plants.
