About this federation
Bezirksverband Berlin-Lichtenberg der Gartenfreunde e. V. is a district federation for the Berlin district of Lichtenberg (Berlin). It was founded on 19 June 1990 at the district federation assembly and is a member of the Landesverband Berlin der Gartenfreunde, the Berlin state association. As intermediate leaseholder, the federation manages 27 allotment garden sites comprising about 3,000 plots on roughly 1.5 million square meters of land. Its work is organized through an executive board, a general board and several working groups that coordinate the 27 member associations.
