District federation der

Bezirksverband der Kleingärtner Schöneberg-Friedenau e. V. is a district association for allotment gardeners in Berlin (Berlin) and has existed since 1920. It leases and manages the allotment gardens in the so called Südgelände near the Südkreuz S-Bahn station, comprising 26 allotment garden colonies in the Schöneberg and Friedenau neighborhoods. The association is committed to preserving allotment gardens, nature conservation, biodiversity and improving the urban climate, and it offers educational programs as well as public events. According to its own information, the community includes people from more than 45 nations.
