About this federation
Regionalverband der Kleingärtner e.V. Cottbus und Umgebung is a district association for allotment gardening based in Cottbus (Brandenburg). Since January 1, 1991, it has been the legal successor of the former district organization of the VKSK, and it has carried its current name since March 20, 1993. It represents the interests of 56 allotment garden clubs with around 1,990 plots and about 3,850 gardening members in Cottbus and the surrounding region. It is affiliated with the Landesverband Brandenburg der Gartenfreunde e.V., based in Werder.
